First Saturday Devotions - Rosary, Exposition and Benediction
A MASS HAS BEEN ADDED for the FIRST SATURDAY of EVERY MONTH. This month, on Saturday, February 4th, and on the FIRST SATURDAY of every month, we will have a 8:30 a.m. Mass, followed by Rosary with Exposition and Benediction with an extended few minutes for each of the mysteries, and to take time to meditate aloud and in silence. It will be followed by a free pancake breakfast in our Parish basement hall for all who attend. This is being implemented to fulfill what our Lady of Fatima asked to be promulgated “The Five First Saturdays Devotion” and I quote, “On December 10, 1925, while Sister Lúcia was a postulant with the Sisters of Saint Dorothy in Pontevedra, Spain, Our Lady appeared to her with the Child Jesus. Our Lady said, “I promise to assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all those who, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months, shall
confess, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me.”

One of our parishioners, John Mygrant, made a Shutterfly photo website for QofH fully open---anybody can contribute to it,
link to it, post to other things (like Facebook) from it and so forth. Just an idea for expanding the presence of the parish online. Check it out!
