The Queen of Heaven Parish Office with be closed on Holy Thursday, April 14th and Good Friday, April 15th. We will open again on Monday, April 18th at 9:00 a.m.

The Lenten (Fish Fry) Dinners will be on Fridays, March 25, April 1 & April 8 only, 4:30-7:00 p.m. in the Parish Life Center.

This Friday, March 25, Queen of Heaven Parish will pray a Mass and Rosary at 12:00 p.m. in the church. Pope Francis has announced the he, along with the all Bishops of the world, will simultaneously consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to The Immaculate Heart of Mary, on March 25th, the Feast of the Annunciation. This will take place at the Vatican and in Fatima, Portugal, at 5:00 PM which is 12:00 noon our time. To unite our hearts and prayers with the Pope and the Bishops at this very special time in history, we will hold a Mass at 12:00 noon here at the church followed by the Rosary. Mary has requested also, that we, her children, say a Rosary every day and participate in the First Five Saturdays of devotion to her Immaculate Heart.

The 2022 Diocesan-wide Evening of Confession will take place on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven and all churches in the diocese. The celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of God’s gifts to help us as we journey toward God’s kingdom and strive to serve God’s people entrusted to our care.

Join Queen of Heaven Parish for Trapper Jack's presentation on "Mary at the Foot of the Cross." Monday, March 7, 2022, 7:00 p.m. in the church (after the 6:30 p.m. Mass). All are welcome! Free-will donation. Social with snacks and beverages will follow the presentation. The presentation by Trapper Jack will be livestreamed and available to watch for one week (with permission) at www.queenofheavenparish.org/mass-livestream.

Our Holy Father, Pope Francis, has asked the Church to spend Ash Wednesday, for a day of prayer and fasting for Peace in the Ukraine. Father Dave is offering our parishioners all day Adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament in the church from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (the Eucharist will be reposed during Ash Wednesday Masses).

Queen of Heaven Parish has made their goal to build a self-sufficient school in the Congo to train rural entrepreneurs in the Muluku territory of Kinshasa! The construction began with a "Groundbreaking Ceremony." Click on title to see the "Groundbreaking Ceremony!"

Please come and join Queen of Heaven’s NEW International Prayer & Support Ministry for brothers and sisters from different countries around the world. The purpose of this international group is to help encourage people who live away from their country of origin and their families through fellowship, prayers and support. The participants pray in different languages as well as share their experiences and ideas. Click on the title to read more about this ministry.

The Ozanam Center in Akron located at the Visitation of Mary Church, 93 Kent Street, Akron, OH 44305, serves the people of our area with food and clothing. The center is a volunteer only based ministry. The center is only open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays except for holidays (volunteers come a half hour early). We are looking for more volunteers to help with distribution, especially sorting clothing and bringing it to the clothing room for people to pick. The next Queen of Heaven scheduled volunteer days at the Ozanam Center are Saturdays, February 12 & March 19, 2022, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Call the Queen of Heaven Parish Office at 330-896-2345 if you can volunteer on either day.
