Thank you to our 72 participants and 45 volunteers for an amazing first day! 
*If you did not receive your child's t-shirt or CD, please stop by the registration table tomorrow morning.

TUESDAY - FRIDAY DROP OFF:  Please try to arrive no earlier than 9:20 A.M. to drop off.  Parents will not need to come into the PLC on Tuesday through Friday.  However, if you would like to come into the lobby to help your child find their name tag and take a picture at our photo booth, you are welcome to do so!

PLEASE BRING the following each day:  Water bottle, beach towel, mask & lanyard, and wear sunscreen!  Optional: a small backpack or drawstring bag might be helpful to hold all of their individual items.  Please label all items with the child's name. 

Today at VBS:

• Crews learned the Bible Point for the day:  JESUS' POWER HELPS US DO HARD THINGS...TRUST JESUS!
• At Sing & Play Express, we sang songs and learned some fun facts about a ram named Ramsey, our Bible Memory Buddy for today.  
• In KidVid Cinema, we heard from a young boy, Dominic, who relied on Jesus' power to take a tough karate test...after failing many times.
• At Bible Adventures, we encouraged Saint Ananias to do the hard thing God has asked of him, and experienced a trust fall to feel what it means to trust Jesus.
• We ate a yummy treat together at Chew Chew Snacks (Granola bars and fruit cups.)
• In Loco Motion Games we learned about the Connecting Kids to Justice Project and played On Track and Runaway Train. 
• At Imagination Station, the crews talked about Saint Therese of Lisieux.  They also tried to keep their Off-Rail Rollers on track, and remember that Jesus' power helps them do hard things.
• Finally, at Rocky Wrap-Up, the children received a ram-bunctious Bible Memory Buddy. (The children will get to take all 5 home on the last day.)

As you can see, it was a wonderful and busy day!  

This week, your family can do something to help other families in need.  Our Connecting Kids to Justice project (through Catholic Relief Services) is collecting donations for families around the world so they can have access to clean water.  Please talk with your child about our service project and encourage them to earn or use their own money to bring in for donations.  

Lastly, please encourage your children to show appreciation for their Crew Leaders, Assistant Crew Leaders, and Station Leaders throughout the week!
