Jubilee YEAR of Hope 2025

  The Jubilee Year of Hope is a special year of grace celebrated in the Universal Church every 25 years. Pope Francis will open Holy Doors at four the Papal Basilicas in Rome to mark the occasion. Bishop Malesic has designated eight parishes – one in each county of the diocese – and three shrines as "Sacred Stes" during the upcoming year for the faithful to visit, pray and receive the special graces associated with the Jubilee Year of Hope.To learn more, visit the Diocese of Cleveland.
  
  Queen of Heaven Parish has been chosen as one of the Diocese of Cleveland's Jubilee Sites of Pilgrimage. Please consider spending a morning or afternoon praying at the statues and shrines around our property.
  
  The Catholic Diocese of Cleveland has created a booklet that explains what a pilgrimage is and how you can obtain indulgences from going on a pilgrimage. Learn more here.
  Tradition dictates that each Jubilee is proclaimed through the publication of a Papal (or Pontifical) ‘Bull of Indiction’. You can read more (here) about this important document on the Vatican's website for the Jubilee Year. The title for the Bull of Indiction is taken from the first words of the document, in this case, "“Hope does not disappoint."
