Pick up and drop off the students at the church.
Ss. Robert & William Catholic Parish, 367 E. 260th St, Euclid, OH, is presenting “Lamb of God,” a powerful musical work about the passion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. “Lamb of God” is a sacred work by Rob Gardner, which portrays the final days of the life of Jesus Christ through to His glorious resurrection. The story is told via the perspectives of those who loved and knew Jesus: Peter, John, Thomas, Mary and Martha of Bethany, Mary Magdalene, and His mother Mary. Kyle Lorek, Director of Music at Ss. Robert & William is undertaking the direction of this production, conducting both choir and orchestra. Mr. Lorek’s direction can be seen regularly at the various Ss. Robert & William Concerts of Hope. Tickets are not required. A freewill offering will be accepted.
The Ozanam Center has been giving out enormous amounts of clothing this year. Due to the high volume, we have found ourselves without winter clothing already. If you would like to donate clothing, we would love to have it. We take donations during the time we are open, Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. If you can get them to us, we will help you offload them. The Ozanam Center in Akron located at the Visitation of Mary Church, 93 Kent Street, Akron, OH, serves the people of our area with food and clothing through volunteers only. The center is only open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays except for holidays (volunteers come a half hour early). We are looking for more volunteers to help with distribution, especially sorting clothing and bringing it to the clothing room for people to pick.
