City of Green Community Food Drive

Beginning May 4 through May 15, the City of Green, in collaboration with Green Local Schools, is holding a city-wide food drive with daily collections to benefit the pantries of Green Good Neighbors, Blessings in a Backpack, and the Chapel in Green. Collections will later be redistributed back into the community to those who need it most.

The Queen of Heaven Parish parking lot (in front of the PLC) will be the site of the Thursday collection on May 7th and May 14th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. If parishioners want to volunteer, they should call the Green Together Hotline at 330-896-6933, or use online registration at CityofGreen.org/GreenTogether, as we are not able to gather groups of volunteers or meetings due to directives from the Bishops of Ohio prohibiting gatherings, Masses or liturgies at this time.
