VBS, Day 2: Tuesday, June 22, 2021

Rocky Railway VBS Day 2 was another fabulous day!
*Tomorrow morning 6/23, we are encouraging all children, families, and crew leaders to attend daily Mass at 8:30am at Queen of Heaven. Children can sit with their families, or sit as a group (on the left side of the Church near the piano.) After Mass, we will walk over to the PLC together. VBS will still begin at 9:30am.
*Thank you for all of your donations to our Connecting Kids to Justice project!
We will be accepting donations throughout the remainder of the week.
*Talk about "God sightings" at home with your family.
Today at VBS:- Crews learned the Bible Point for the day: JESUS' POWER GIVES US HOPE...TRUST JESUS!
- At Sing & Play, we met Bible Memory Buddy Ava and sang Rocky Railway songs.
- In KidVid Cinema, we heard from a young girl, Analiz, who uses her music to bring Jesus' hope to her sick grandmother and so many others!
- At Bible Adventures, we joined a ship's crew and found hope amid a windy, wavy, wild storm with prisoner Saint Paul.
- We ate a yummy treat together at Chew Chew Snacks (Keebler Fudge Stripes and fruit cups.)
- In Loco Motion Games we played Walking Lightly and H.O.P.E. Ball.
- At Imagination Station, the crews talked about Saint Jude. We also played with cool Hope 'n' Hovers to remind us that Jesus' power gives us hope.
- Finally, at Rocky Wrap-Up, we watched for familiar faces in today's Spotlight VBS! Crews searched for hidden "gold," even when it seemed hopeless to find it.
