The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a “cluster parish ministry” in which parishioners from Nativity of the Lord, Queen of Heaven, St. Francis de Sales and St. Paul parishes come together to pray, share information and stories of the ministry as well as tips and tricks of crocheting or knitting. ROAR Vacation Bible School was a big success! THANK YOU to all the station leaders, crew leaders, kitchen volunteers, decorating committee, and parishioners for your donations and prayers! At ROAR, kids discover that God is good even when life gets wild! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Wild Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God's love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos kids will take home and play with all summer long.
On June 30th, there will be a celebration of the 20 year we have been blessed by Father David Durkee's leadership. It will begin with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 5 pm with dinner and music to follow. Please RSVP to the Church office no later than June 24th if you plan to attend the dinner!
To celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi, the 11 am Mass will end with a procession to an outdoor altar and Benediction. A reception will follow to welcome Father James Semonin.
There will be a pizza reception to welcome Father James Semonin, retired and in-residence at Queen of Heaven on June 23rd after the 11 am Mass. The reception will take place after the procession celebrating Corpus Christi.
