CLE21:6 is a day sponsored by the Office of Youth Ministry of the Diocese of Cleveland to ignite teens in their faith and gather in fellowship as young Church. The Rosary Makers have made 189,000 rosaries since they began their ministry. Their goal is to have made up to 200,000 Rosaries by December 2022! If you would like to be a part of this meaningful ministry, join them any Tuesday in the Bride’s room after morning Mass.

The Cluster Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet at 10 am, on Tuesday, January 11, at Nativity Catholic Church. Please bring your shawls and any work in progress. An Approved Support Group under the Department for Marriage and Family Ministry – Diocese of Cleveland A "Caring and Sharing" session for those struggling with divorce, separation or widowhood will be held on Monday, December 13th from 7:30-9:00 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary's Convent Building, 1945 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls. Marlene, a retired Social Worker, will facilitate this session. This event is open at no charge to people of all faiths. For information call Marlene 330-607-6284.
Lessons and Carols concert will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 2427 Tuscarawas W. in Canton, OH, on Sunday, December 12 at 7:00pm; Jon Simsic is the organist and choirmaster. In the tradition of King's College in Cambridge, England, the St. Joseph Choir, Bell Choir, and guest choir Illuminare will present a service of Scripture, music, and sing-a-long carols, which traces Salvation History. Compositions presented will feature works by Ley, Near, Todd, Tarney, MacMillan, and others. A free will offering will be accepted to benefit the music program.
We are accepting donations for the Christmas environment (flowers) in memory of those who have died. The donation is $10.00. We ask that there be ONE MEMORIAL PER DONATION. The deadline is Monday, December 13, 2021. The list of those memorialized will be printed in an upcoming church bulletin. Forms can be picked up and dropped off at the Parish Office (M-F, 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) or they can be downloaded from our parish website homepage (to print out) at https://queenofheavenparish.org. The Labre Homeless Ministry sends a big thank you to those who have provided their generous support through the past year! We continue to feed families and homeless individuals every Thursday in our new food truck. We have also expanded our mobile ministry to include a weekly clothing distribution. Our current clothing needs include the following: • New men’s underwear size medium & large • Men's t-shirts, new or (nearly new) medium & large • New lady's underwear sizes 6, 7, 8 • Seasonal items - sleeping bags and blankets • Bath towels & wash cloths • Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, etc.) Donations can be left in the Labre cupboard in the church Gathering Space.
