Congress is trying to force Americans to pay for abortion. The Hyde Amendment and similar laws have protected taxpayers from funding elective abortion for 45 years. Now, powerful members of Congress want to take away these laws that both Democrats and Republicans have supported for nearly half a century. Billions of taxpayer dollars could be used to pay for abortion. It is critically important for Catholics to send a strong message before Congress moves forward to impose taxpayer-funded abortion. Go to the front page of our website to find the link to sign the petition or go to https://www.notaxpayerabortion.com.

The annual NFP Family Summer Picnic is back! We sure missed it last year! It will be Saturday, July 17 at 4:00 pm. We are really looking forward to getting together with old and new friends. We have a new location this year! Bain Park is easy to find in Fairview Park - either five minutes north from I-480 or south from I-90. Use Bain Park Pavillion in Waze or Google maps and it will get you there! The shelter has built in grills and large tables. The playground areas have plenty of place to play. There are open spaces for the balloon toss. Someone would be welcome to bring a volleyball net or cornhole set. Hot dogs will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Bring drinks for your own family. Please think about inviting a new family to the picnic this year. You probably know a family that has felt a little disconnected over the past year and a half. Please RSVP on the meetup site so we make sure there are enough hot dogs! https://www.meetup.com/NEO-NFP/events/277688021/ Can you help? Please use the signup genius to let Mary Ellen and Tim know if you can bring something to help! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4DAEAA2DA5F94-nfppicnic
