Queen of Heaven is forming a new praesidium of the Legion of Mary. The praesidium members will be under the direction of Pastor Reverend David Durkee. Those wishing to join the Legion of Mary must apply for membership. Members must perform a weekly work obligation of at least two hours and meet weekly for prayer and spiritual formation to receive assignments and other matters. There is a three-month probationary period which allows for participating fully before enrollment. New members will go out two by two performing spiritual works of mercy by visiting newly registered parishioners, the newly baptized, the homebound, the hospitalized, those in nursing homes and assisted living facilities, the recently bereaved and many other works too. This Lent, Queen of Heaven Pro-Life Ministry is inviting people to participate in supporting our 40 Days for Life & Family campaign. We’re looking for volunteers to help prepare meals for families at the pregnancy support centers 1-2 times per year. We are also looking for PRAYER WARRIORS as we pray to form a CULTURE OF LIFE from conception to natural death.
