Journey to Peace Bereavement Support – a ministry of information, consolation, spiritual, and emotional support – is offering a free six-week series on Mondays at Queen of Heaven Church from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Gathering Space beginning on September 12 and running through October 17, 2022. The ministry members will strive to provide support and guidance for daily living for anyone suffering grief, whether recent or lingering from the past. We are looking for volunteers to help make our Fun Days a success! Parish Fun Days are Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30, 5:30-9:30 p.m. each evening. If you would like to volunteer, a link for signing up will be sent out in a Flocknote (email messaging system from our parish). If you do not get our Flocknotes, please contact the parish office to sign up. In addition, a paper copy sign up sheet will be in the Gathering Space (back of the church) after all weekend Masses. Due to the 4th of July holiday, Young at Heart will meet on Monday, July 11, 1:00 p.m. in rooms 4 & 5 in the Parish Life Center. Our theme is Christmas in July and we will have fun playing games. Dues are still being collected and planning continues for the August Picnic.
We are in need of two volunteers to represent our parish at the upcoming Diocesan Pre-synodal Gathering on Saturday, June 11th at Cleveland Public Auditorium from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. followed by a special Mass with Bishop Malesic. Please call the Parish Office at 330-896-2345 ASAP if you are interested.
This Friday, March 25, Queen of Heaven Parish will pray a Mass and Rosary at 12:00 p.m. in the church. Pope Francis has announced the he, along with the all Bishops of the world, will simultaneously consecrate Russia and the Ukraine to The Immaculate Heart of Mary, on March 25th, the Feast of the Annunciation. This will take place at the Vatican and in Fatima, Portugal, at 5:00 PM which is 12:00 noon our time. To unite our hearts and prayers with the Pope and the Bishops at this very special time in history, we will hold a Mass at 12:00 noon here at the church followed by the Rosary. Mary has requested also, that we, her children, say a Rosary every day and participate in the First Five Saturdays of devotion to her Immaculate Heart.
The 2022 Diocesan-wide Evening of Confession will take place on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Queen of Heaven and all churches in the diocese. The celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is one of God’s gifts to help us as we journey toward God’s kingdom and strive to serve God’s people entrusted to our care.

Join Queen of Heaven Parish for Trapper Jack's presentation on "Mary at the Foot of the Cross." Monday, March 7, 2022, 7:00 p.m. in the church (after the 6:30 p.m. Mass). All are welcome! Free-will donation. Social with snacks and beverages will follow the presentation. The presentation by Trapper Jack will be livestreamed and available to watch for one week (with permission) at www.queenofheavenparish.org/mass-livestream.
Discovering Christ is a seven-week experience where anyone and everyone, from the baptized in the pews to the unbaptized, is invited to hear the Good News and personally encounter Jesus Christ. Discovering Christ helps people enter into or renew a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, experience the love of God the Father, and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to live as God’s children.
