Bethlehem Christian Families are coming to Queen of Heaven Parish after all Masses the weekend of April 30 & May 1, 2022. The carving of the Olive Wood Tree has been inherited since the time of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It was passed down from father to son for many generations including our family. More than 80% of the Christian community income comes from tourism and the olive wood trade. However, due to the ongoing difficult circumstances and the tremendous decrease in tourism, the Christian community has suffered many hardships that led many Christian families to leave their homes in search of work and safety. Our mission is to support and strengthen the presence of Christians in the Holy Land by selling their beautiful olive wood artifacts here in the United States. We have been so blessed and so grateful to have had the opportunity to travel all around the United States to different parishes for the past 15 years to represent these less fortunate Christians. We are happy to announce that we will be visiting Queen of Heaven Parish on the weekend of April 30 & May 1, 2022. We encourage you to look over our beautiful hand carved items. We value your support through these unprecedented times. We will be accepting cash, credit cards & checks.
We are very grateful for Father Robert Pahler who served Queen of Heaven Parish from 1990-1999. He is our Pastor Emeritus (Pastor in retirement). During his years, the addition to our church and the pavilion were built. He was noted for his smile and his always positive and jovial spirit. His ordination date is May 18, 1960. He retired on July 1, 1999, and is presently living at Regina Health Center in Richfield, Ohio. His 93rd birthday will be this Monday, April 18th. Please keep him in your prayers. If you would like to send him a note or a card, please call the parish office at 330-896-2345 for his address.

To unite our hearts and prayers with the Pope and the Bishops at this very special time in history, we will hold a Mass at 12:00 noon here at the church followed by the Rosary.
